About Ann

Ann finds the fields of coaching and energy therapy to be a wonderful match. Her non-judgemental character and inquisitive mind, combined with her love for people, makes her a perfect candidate for the field of life coaching. The healer in her loves EFT for its quick results and simplicity. Ann learned about Emotional Freedom Techniques while in her life coaching program. She immediately saw its value for moving people past their emotional and mental blocks to success.

Ann's own struggles with her binge eating disorder make her a unique help to those challenged with emotional eating and excess weight. She has helped people with these issues for more than 20 years but she finds the combination of coaching and EFT to be the most effective.

Ann has studied and used EFT almost daily for over 5 years. She is certified by the only official EFT Certification Program started by EFT founder, Gary Craig. She has facilitated over 1,500 sessions and teaches EFT workshops regularly.

Ann earned a B.A. in philosophy and comparative literature from Indiana University and studied graduate-level transpersonal counseling at John F. Kennedy University in California. Ann is a trained domestic relations and community mediator. She is a graduate of Coach for Life™, an accredited life coaching program.

Ann has nurtured a loving marriage with her husband, Mike, for over 30 years and is an experienced parent of five. Using her leadership skills and take-charge attitude, Ann has taught parenting classes, co-facilitated a speakers’ series on parenting, and co-founded a natural food co-op and a babysitting co-op. She served on the Board of Trustees of her church, Unity of Bloomington, for five years, two as President.
